''vt Terry Smith claimed Jill Goodwin as his bride Dec. 15 in the Enchanted Gardens with ' Bishop Neal Christensen officiating of-ficiating at the double ring ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goodwin are the parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Smith are the bridegroom's parents. Following the ceremony the bride greeted guests at a reception in a long gown of acetate which featured a high neckline and train tirmmed with delicate lace. Lace was also at the wide cuffs of the feminely puffed sleeves. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations. Miss Teresa Larson was maid of honor with Misses Betsy and Michelle Goodwin; Mrs. Garth (Diane) Bryant (sisters of the bride); and Miss Melanee Harding acting as bridesmaids. Petite flower girls were nieces of the bride, Lynette Goodwin and Kim Bryant. The attendants wore bright cherry red dresses accented by white lace down the front and white aprongs tied with red sashes in the front. White gloves and white hats with red sashes completed the ensembles. Each carried a red rose with lace and red sash tie. Ring bearer was Brandon Goodwin a nephew of the bride while Doris Goodwin sat at the guest book and Eddie Goodwin and David Smith carried the gifts to Kathy Tucker, Debbie Neilson and Carol Thorley. Throughout the evening organ music was furnished by Emily Anderson (at the wedding), Robynn Hill, Maria SmLih and Eddie Goodwin. fcw..-..,. - - MIS. AM) MRS. TERRY SMITH Robert and Marsha Goodwin acted as host and hostess for the reception and refreshments were served by Elyse Jones. Linda Lunt. Karen Gillins, Sue Adams, and Joyce Prows. Kim Bulloch was best man with the ushering being done by Eddie Pectol, Craig Adams, Kevin Nelson, and Kendall Smith. The red-haired mothers of the bridal couple were striking in matching moss green dresses with Cymbidium orchid corsages. cor-sages. After honeymooning in Las Vegas the newlyweds returned to Cedar where they are making their home. The bride has played the violin in the Cedar High Orchestra and is active in music circles with her piano playing. Mr. Smith is a graduate of Cedar High where he was co-chairman co-chairman of the Senior Hop and was a member of the DECA Club and Acapella Choir. |
