Show PARAGONAH NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Elmo C. Robinson and family of Orem arrived here on Fri. to spend the week-end with the Chester Robinson family. They came for the Steven Edwards wedding reception in Cedar City Sat. .evening. Other family members attending at-tending the reception were Mr. and Mrs. David Robinson, Mrs. Dale Robinson, Quinten and Lori, Billy Edwards, Mrs. Melva Barton and J. Lowe and Mrs. Alice Robinson from the Rest Home in Parowan. Numerous friends also attended at-tended the reception. Mrs. Mary Dalton has received word of the arrival of a new-granddaughter, new-granddaughter, little Brandie Sue Howard born on Dec. 31 to Miss Ann Harris and a friend from Calif, visited here on Sat. with her uncle Bill Edwards and Mrs. Melva Barton and J. Lowe. Miss Harris had come for the wedding reception of her cousin Steven Edwards. Mrs. Joy Talbot and her four children of Norco, Calif, were in the area from Wed. to Mon. They visited here with Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot and in Parowan with the Farris Evans family. They had come to Utah for the wedding of Joy's sister. Mr. and Mrs. Lamarr Rosenberg and children of Cedar City were Sun. visitors at the Renford Talbot home. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Robb and their little girl have left our community after living here for several months. They traveled to Granger on Sat. to spend the weekend with Danny's mother and on Mon. Danny was to report for his service training. He had enlisted in the Army. Myrna and the baby will return to Parowan to make their home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Her-mansen. Her-mansen. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Robb enjoyed en-joyed a weekend visit from daughters, Karen and Connie Ferguson and a friend Miss Kathy Kost. Karen is attending college in St. George and the other girls came from Las Vegas. Norm and Susan Howard of Washington Heights. 1 Mrs. Dalton and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jenseri 'traveled to St. George on Jan 1 to see the new baby and visit the mother in the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lessing and daughter Sandra and Mrs. Retta Parkinson all of Beaver visited here at the John R. Lister home on Jan. 5. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Clark and two children were moving to Cedar City during the weekend after living in Paragonah for a few months. Mr. Clark is employed em-ployed at the new Albertsons Store there. DI P meeting for Jan. was held on the 9th at the home of Mrs. Idella Robinson. The lesson given was about the Bulloch and Sherratt pioneers to Cedar City. Paragonah young people were the winners in the Stake "New Era Bowl" contest held in Parowan Third Ward on Sat. evening. Members of the winning team were the Misses Donna Abbott, Tammy and Beverly Robinson and Rick Robinson. Mrs. Florene Barton was guest of honor at a delightful party held on Fri. evening at the Ivan Robb home. Interesting games and tasty refreshments added to the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Lamoreaux and two children of Beryl were Sat visitors at the Joe Lamoreaux home. Mrs. Leona Stones spent the weekend of Jan 5 in Cedar City with the Carlyle Mitchell family and on Sun traveled to Washington to see the Blair Mitchells. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund traveled to Toquervi'le recently to spend a day visiting with Roenc's brothers John and Merrill Maxwell and their wives. They were accompanied by Mrs. Olive Maxwell of Cedar City-Mr City-Mr and Mrs Mark Henderson and three children of Las Vegas visited here from Sat. to Mon. with the Sam Cutler family and other relatives. Earl Stanbridge and Norma Warburton of Salt Lake City were overnight guests at the Antone Robinson home. They are business associates of Ant ones. |
