Show Mrs. George Adams Is Club Hostess The hospitality of Mrs. George Adams, in their lovely new home, was enjoyed by members of the Mothers Study club when they met on Friday afternoon. ' The program featured an interesting inter-esting talk by W. W. Brockbank on International Problems. He reviewed re-viewed briefly the speech made by iGeneral Douglas. MacArthur and commented on events which led up to the dismissal of the General. Mrs. Eva Crandall entertained with two piano selections. A report on the state club convention con-vention in Salt Lake City was given by Mrs. Hilda Cherrington and Mrs. Philda Finley reported on the Wamens' Legislative Council meeting in Provo and on the state convention. Mrs. Floss Taylor, president, was in charge of the meeting and urged the members to atend the art tea Saturday. She also announced an-nounced the district club convention conven-tion to be held at Fillmore, May 12. The hostess served tasty refreshments re-freshments at the close of the meeting. Special guests included, Mrs. Wilford W. Clyde, Mrs. Lee Sumsion of Salt Lake City Mrs. W. W. Brockbank and Mrs. J. E. Goates who assisted her sister with the serving. |
