Show Measles immunization clinic to be held in Cedar City Friday There will be a measeles Immunization Clinic for all children in Iron County ages 1 year through 12 years. This will be held at the South Elementary El-ementary School in Cedar City on Friday, Feb. 4, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Immunizations for Rubella (German Measles) or for Rubeola Ru-beola (Red Measles) will be given; or if your child has not been immunized for either eith-er type of Measles a combination combin-ation of both tyipes may be given. There will be no charge for getting these immunizations. It is necessary to have parental par-ental consent and that parents par-ents come with pre-school children. If you are not sure whether your child has been immunized, there is no danger in his having this immunization. immuniza-tion. The last time Red Measles Clinic ("Muzzle Measles") was held in Cedar City was in 1967 and the last time Rubella Rubel-la (German Measles) was given in Cedar City was in 1970. . ' . We urge all children who have not had the Vaccines or the Measles diseases to be sure to take advantage of this Clinic. The clinic is co-sponsored by Iron County and by the State Division of Health. Parents are advised that if their child has been exposed to measles there will be a doctor on hand to advise in immunization. . |
