Show Miss Carol Potty named "Teacher of the Day" fey KSL Miss Carol Potty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Parce Prince of Now Harmony, was named felM felS'S; If! iSi) If $mk$$ CAROL PETTY "Teacher of the Day" by KSL Radio program honoring outstanding out-standing teachers. Miss Petty is second grade teacher at Grantsville Elementary Elem-entary School. She was selected select-ed as the result of many parents par-ents of her students writing KSL to recommend her as a candidate for the signal honor. She was further recommended recommend-ed by her principal. It was pointed out that in addition to her regular class work she has undertaken a night class in which three adults are being be-ing trained in reading. The citation, in part, presented pre-sented in an interview on KSL radio mentioned that "she loves her students and the students stu-dents and their parents apparently ap-parently love her." Jler principal princ-ipal highly roeoimmended her as an asset to the school. He said she was always willing to go the "extra mile." Miss Petty received a dozen red roses delivered to her classroom in Grantsville. She is a graduate of Cedar High School and Utah State University. |
