Show Steven Anderson dies in auto accident passenger In the car at the lime of the accident, and owner own-er of the vehicle, was Hal Larsen, also of Cedar City. He was also thrown from the car but escaped by severe briuses and abrasions. Funeral services honoring Anderson were held Monday at 1 p. m. in the Cedar Eleventh Elev-enth Ward Chapel. Conducting was Bishop Mark Robinson. Family prayer was offered by Herman Anderson, the invocation was by Mc-Clean Mc-Clean Bybee, the benediction by Jay Don Alger and the dedication de-dication of the grave at the Cedar City Cemetery was Dick Morris. Speaker at the services' was Rex Hulet with remarks by Bishop Robinson. Musical iiumotTs included a vocal duet, "Abide With Me," by Bonnie and Shelley Baldwin, Bald-win, accompanied by Ferrol Dene Baldwin and a vocal solo "The Lord's Prayer" by LaRae "ladmall, accompanied by Mrs. Shirley Cowan. Mrs. Cowan provided prelude and postlude nusic. The young man was Iborn in 3edar City Feb. 3, 1952 -a son of Byron Keith and Gene John- son Anderson. He was a member of the LDS Church. A graduate of Cedar High School he was attending at-tending Southern Utah State College. He was also employed employ-ed in the body department at Bradshaw Chevrolet Company. Anderson was a member of the Utah National Guard and served a tour of active duty. He was active in athletics, participating in Cedar City baseball programs and was a member of the Cedar High School baseball team. Survivors include his parents, par-ents, Cedar City; a sister, Mrs. (Carolyn) Jorgensen. Also surviving are grandparents, grand-parents, Mrs. Lena Johnson, and Mrs. Edith Anderson, both of Cedar City. Services were tinder the direction di-rection of the Spilsbury-Graff Mortuary. STEVEN J. ANDERSON Steven J. Anderson, 19, year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Anderson of Cedar City was killed Friday evening, Jan. 28 in a single-car roll over on a County road north of Cedar City. Anderson was thrown from the car and it rolled over him. Investigation officers indicated indicat-ed that he died instantly. A |
