Aland Mary Austin, owners managers of Cedar Trading Post Al and Mary Austin are new neighbors in Cedar City, not only in residence, but in business as owners and managers of the Cedar City Trading Post Al and Mary moved here from Charles County, Maryland. They have established a residence at the Garden Park Estates in Cedar Valley and attended the Enoch First Ward of the LDS Church. The Austins have five children one in high school, three attending at-tending the North Elementary and one at home. When asked why they came to Cedar City they had three main reasons: First, it is the loviest place in the world that we have ever been; second, the great people we have ever known reside here and third, -Al used the famous expression ex-pression of Will Rogers, "I haven't met a man yet that I haven't liked." , Al and Mary are not newcomers in the retail business. 1 They operated stores in the east, sporting goods, pawn shop, men's habadashery and shoe store. They are both avid hunters, hun-ters, fishermen and archers, Al is an instructor in archery and an expert in firearms including rifles, shotguns and hand guns. When asked his philosophy of business Al explained that, one, We. serve the people; two, Individual In-dividual customer service with a motto of "we aim to please, and three, we specialize in special orders." Al and Mary invite everyone to come in and get acquainted.
