Show Townspeople invited to attend Continuing Education classes Photography, fly-tying, typewriting, metrics, economics, welding, gunsmithing, jewelry making, knit construction, electronics, and water safety instruction are but a few of the Continuing Education classes being offered at Southern Utah State College. . Registration for the Continuing Education and Extended Day Program will be held this evening (Thursday) from 5:30 -7:30 in the SUSC student center, small ballroom. "The spring quarter curriculum includes classes which appeal to many varied interests and satisfy individual educational requirements as well," McRay Cloward, dean of the School of Continuing Education, said. "Evening classes in education, behavioral science, business, bicentennial-oriented events, development of creative hobbies and increased technical skills are among the many offerings available," Cloward said. "Two classes - use of the handgun and body conditioning -are being offered especially for women," he said. Depending on the specific class, a student may earn no credit, credit or graduate credit for the quarter's work. Continuing education schedules may be obtained at Dr. Cloward's office, Old Main 101, or during registration. Classes' begin March 29. "We invite all citizens to look into our spring quarter program and to participate in classes to further their education," Cloward said. Counseling personnel per-sonnel will be available during registration for individual and academic consultation. |
