Show It i i "V J 1 30&- M STEVE HODSON ROBERT LEE Robert Lee, Steve Hodson named to RMAC and NAIA ball teams The 1976 basketball season has brought some outstanding honors to the Southern Utah State T-Birds. T-Birds. Robert Lee, 6-5 junior from Layton, Utah, was named to the All-RMAC and NAIA District 7 first teams; while Steve Hudson, 5-11 junior from Orem, Utah, was named to the NAIA District 7 team. Lee led the T-Birds and the RMAC in scoring with a 20 point average and also led both in free throw percentage (77-91) .846. He is now the second all-time leading scorer for Southern Utah with 1,171 points in his three-year career. Skip Mead is the T-Bird career scoring leader with 1,275 points. Hodson averaged 14.2 points per game and shot .541 percent from the field. He also led the T-Birds T-Birds in assists with 118. As a team SUSC broke four records: Best field goal percentage per-centage in one game 64.1 against Western State, Best free throw percentage (9-9, 100 percent against Grand Canyon), Points scored one season (2478) and field goal percentage one season (.504). The 19-9 record (.679) was the best ever as a four-year school. |
