Show 9 MR. AND MRS. WALTER MERRYWEATHER Mr. and Mrs. Walter Merryweather to celebrate Golden Wedding has been a lifetime resident of this community. Many folks will remember her from years of working in Mary Palmer dress ship in Cedar City, later in Mode O Day. They are the parents of two children, Mrs. Wayne Whitehead (Janice) of St. George, Walter P. Merryweather of Salt Lake City. They have three grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family of Walt and BeO-niece- invite , all friends and relatives to join with them and ehlp to honor their parents on this special day. I - Mr. and Mrs. Walter Merryweather will celebrate i their Golden Wedding An-. An-. niversary with an open house on Saturday, March 27, 1976. It will be held in the Enchanted Gardens Gar-dens Reception Center, in Cedar City, from 6 to 8 p.m. All relatives and friends are invited. No gifts please. p The Merryweathers were '.married on March 27, 1926 in Cedar City. Walt Merryweather': -was born in Scofield, Utah on -January 9, 1905, a son of Frank and Fanny Boweter Merryweather. Three years later the Merryweather family moved to Provo, where they resided until 1920 when they moved to Cedar City. Walter was affiliated with the "Goodie Garden" in Cedar City most of his younger life. In, later years he was employed em-ployed by the Utah Department of Highways. Berniece was born Berniece Parry, daughter of Evelyn and Eliza Ann Macfarlane Parry, on July 31, 1903 in Cedar City. She |
