Show Robert W. Fowler succumbs; services held Robert William Fowler, 80 of 47 East 400 North, Parowan, died at the Iron County Rest Home of causes incident to age March 20. Mr. Fowler was born November 3, 1895 in Parowan to George W. and Annie Chalk Fowler. He was a Veteran of World War 1 and active in the American Legion. Most of his life he worked as a self-employed farmer-livestockman. farmer-livestockman. He also served as watermaster for many years. Member of the IDS Church. Survivors include two sisters: Florence Dowes, Tumwater, Washington and a twin, Rosena Bradfield, of Salt Lake City. Four nieces whom he helped raise: Mrs. Dehner (Elma) Davis, Mrs. Anthon (Anna Mae) Perry, both of Cedar City, Mrs. Jaye (Iva) Sharp, Las Vegas, and Mrs. Eldon (Bertha) Morris, Pioche, Nev. Funeral services were held Thursday March 25, at 2 p.m. in the Parowan LDS Third Ward Chapel with Bishop Boyd Mitchell conducint. Military rites were performed at the Cemetery by the American Legion, with burial in the Parowan City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Southern Utah Mortuaries. |
