O.. will be ordained to the priesthood for the diocese of Helena Thursday, June 21. His chances for a vacation with his friends at Mt. Francis Van Clarenbeck .left Billings Monday, June IS, for a visit to his old home in Holland. Father Van Clarenbeck has been, in Montana the past seven years, laboring faithfully in the path he has chosen. John Mitch- kea and John Lecy The Novena to the Sacred Heart, which began on Corpus Christi ends on Friday, the Feast of the Sacred Heart. This is a pretty devotion, consisting of the act of consecration to the Sacred Heart, Litany and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Quite a number areJmaking the Novena, this being the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, it is a fitting and appropriate devotion. Over 100 girls banded together in the Society of the Children of. Mary received receiv-ed Holy Communion at 8 o'clock Mass last Sunday. It was a most edifying sight to behold those "fair young flowers flow-ers of the Church" approach the altars in honor of the Mother of God. Such a beginning during their most impressionable impres-sionable years cannot but have its lasting last-ing effects. May they still cling to their Divine Mother, and she will never forsake for-sake them, when tossed upon the turbulent tur-bulent waters of tjie world.
