We wish to correct a typographical error in our items of last week. The Hon. James Dayle is the donor of a check for S500 toward building a new church, not "Jiminez" Taylor, as mentioned. men-tioned. Contractor McXully of Cripple Creek called upon Father Downey the past week in regard to building the new church. A construction gang laid the first rails of the Colorado Springs & Cripple Creek railway on Victor avenue Friday. Fri-day. Hal Burke of Maco, Tex., is visiting with George Hughes of Goldfield. J. J. F. Haron, who has been connected connect-ed with Foley Bros, here, has gone to Xew York and Philadelphia. The students from the mining department depart-ment of Columbia university reached here in two sections. They will pursue their summer studies in the district. Master Henry Crumby is home from All Hallows college. Salt Lake City.
