T Buencamino, Paterno and other prom- inent Filipino leaders are greatly $ pleased, as they believe that under the y amnesty they can bring about the sur- render of Aguinaldo, who they declare X is ready and wiling to consider the T peace platform adopted by the Filipino a leaders, with a few insignificant excep- T tions. 7 Several meetings of the leaders were ? held quietly in Manila last week.
