Show ; : Commencement Says : ! : of College and Consent : These are happy commencement days. These are the days when the youth of the country bid farewell to the college and embark on the uncertain sea of busy life; begin, as it were, the great battle with the world. It is particularly interesting to know that our colleges and convents in the great West are graduating this year so many bright young , men and women, and it is likewise pleasing to note that these same institutions are as splendidly splendid-ly equipped for the training and education edu-cation of our youth as any of the older and more famous schools of the East. Throughout the Intermountai.i States this week the commencement exercises of our Catholic schools have ?aken place. None were more edifying or satisfactory than the Salt Lake commencements. com-mencements. All Hallows and St. Mary's Academy Acad-emy should be proud of their record and the Catholic people, on the oTher hand, should be proud of thene great educational institutions. P.esides these exercises, reports come from Denver, Colo.; Helena, Mont., and othar episcopal epis-copal centers, showing that from an educational standpoint the old Catholic Cath-olic Church, reflecting the learning, art, culture and genius of the worid, is fully abreast of the times. At the Salt Lake Theatre on Monday evening the All Hallows boys gave a splendid performance, which wa3 witnessed wit-nessed by a large and fashionp.ble audience. au-dience. Space will not permit us. to' go into details, but it can be truthfully truth-fully said of the All Hallows boys that they possess superior dramatic talent.
