Show Dist. Human Services Council plans meeting The Southeastern Utah District Dis-trict 7-A Human Services Council will be holding its monthly meeting on Thurs., March 2 at 4:30 p.m. in the Zion National Bank Conference Confer-ence Room. The Council, which advises the Southeastern Utah Assn." of Governments on matters pertaining to human service programs, will be meeting to discuss and formulate recommendations recom-mendations on requests made ' " local human service providers pro-viders for local option Title XX funds. A number of local service providers have lodged requests re-quests for these funds. These requests include senior citizen nutrition programs, $61,000; legal services for the low' income, $15,000; Southeastern South-eastern Utah Alcohol Recovery Re-covery Center, $11,333; Planned Parenthood for fam ily planning, $20,000; Castle Valley Workshop, $14,537; Allen Memorial Hospital, $7,470; Four Corners Mental Health (for a variety of programs), pro-grams), $33,311; and planning at $27,500. Many of these programs are designed to serve eligible clients in their counties of District 7-A, Carbon, Emery and Grand. It is anticipated that agency sponsors of the funding requests re-quests will be present to explain their programs and requests. The public is invited to attend this and all meetings of the Council which are regularly scheduled on the first Thursday of each month.
