Show Police investigaing theft from business On the morning of Feb. 16 it was reported to Moab Police that about $900 in cash had been taken from the safe at Canyonlands Auto Parts sometime during the night or early morning. According to Chief Mel Dalton there was no forced entry, and a key was used to open the safe. It is believed the only thing missing is the money he said. The incident is still under investigation. Also Feb. 16 at 2:20 p.m. on Hillside Drive, a 1970 Ford pickup belonging to Oren and Ruby Moore was left parked by Rex Moore. It rolled backward back-ward hitting a 1970 Chevrolet belonging to Carol McTag-gart. McTag-gart. There was about $500 damage to the Chevrolet and about $200 damage to the Ford. During the week two juveniles juven-iles were handled by Moab Police officers. One was sent to Juvenile Court for shoplifting shoplift-ing and the other for curfew violation.
