GIRLS BASKETBALL By Wes Key The Region 7 Girls Basketball Basket-ball Regional Tournament will be held February 23, 24, and 25 at Grand County High School. There will be eight teams in the tournament: San Juan Broncos, Emery Spartans, Richfield Wildcats, Delta Rabbits, Rab-bits, North Sanpete Hawks, Hurricane Tigers, Manti Templars, Tem-plars, and the winner out of Juab and South Sevier. Richfield and Delta may be playing in the championship game because they are the 1st place teams on their sides of the region. The Moab girls will play the Manti girls Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The Moab girls took third on the eastern side of the region and Manti is the fourth place team on the western side. Coach Lynn Allen thinks that the Moab team has a good chance at third place since the games that they have lost have only been by 1 or 2 points.
