Show ACT TEST By Robert Robinson Grand County High School is offering, for the last time this year, to interested Juniors and Seniors the ACT test on April 1. ACT is American College Testing Program. The test determines a student's academic aca-demic skills. The ACT is required by most colleges and universities to enter then-schools. then-schools. The test is usually given on a Saturday at the students' high school. The ACT takes about four hours to complete and every junior and senior should have ACT results on file. Applications may be obtained obtain-ed at the high school office. A fee of $7.50 should accompany the application which should be sent in this month. In America nearly 2,600 colleges, universities and a-gencies a-gencies require or recommend this test to high school students stu-dents who plan to attend a college or university or if they are planning to get a job with some agencies or firms. |
