Show Annual love Song' Event Of West Ward Draws Appreciative Audience The annual "Love Song", evening of the West ward M. I. A. Tuesday Tues-day evening was enjoyed by a large audience in the Elementary school building. Counselor Helen Whitehead of the Young Women was in charge of the program. Included in the numbers presented pre-sented were scriptural readings by Miss Beulah Blake, preceding a variety of old-time love songs introduced in-troduced by Miss Linda Larson with clever original verse. Mrs Nemmie Pearce was pianist for the evening. The program was as follows, under direction of Miss Ruth Win-sor: Win-sor: "Drink To Me Only With Thine Eyes", vocal solo, Rex McAllister; Mc-Allister; quartet, "Annie Laurie", Que Bradshaw, Junior Larkin, Hal Lund and Rex McAllister; "Ma-cushla", "Ma-cushla", vocal solo, Mrs. S. K. Gerber; with Nettie W. Gardner accompanist; "Santa Lucia", vocal duet, Dorothy and Edna McAllister; McAl-lister; "Isle of Dreams", West ward Ladies' chorus, featuring Ruth Winsor, Edna McAllister, Marie Meeks, Cleo Nelson, Lu-zene Lu-zene McAllister, LaPrele Snow, Harriet Cox, Anna Cox and Dorothy Doro-thy McAllister; with guitar and piano accompaniment; vocal duet, "Blue Moon", Marie Meeks and Cleo Nelson; male quartet, "Sweet Genevieve", with Loris Stewart accompanying on the steel guitar; "Silver Threads Among the Gold", Ladies' chorus, and pantomined by Roxey S. P.omncy and Mayor D. C. Watson; vocal solo, "O, Promise Me", by Mrs. Hannah C.
