Show Note of Appreciation As workers of the St. George Temple we desire to express our great appreciation for the fine support the people of St. George wards gave the people of the Santa Barbara District during their recent excursion to the Temple. Tem-ple. The visitors were touched by the hospitality shown and siy they only long for an opportunity to return the compliment. They as well as we appreciate the work of the various committees. It is not our purpose to impose on our local people, but we hope they feel well in extending a helping hand to those who put forth such an effort to visit our Temple. It should make us all more appreciative of our advantage advan-tage in having the Temple in our city. There were in St. George for this excursion about 150 of these good people from Santa Barbara District. Such contacts are of mutual benefit to each of us. At their request, a complete list of our boys in Army training at San Luis Obispo is being forwarded for-warded to them. They reside in the vicinity of San Luis and are going to do all they can to assist the boys and to help them to keep from being too homesick. In caring for the visitors F. K. Stucki and wife and Lewis Christian Chris-tian and wife had charge of the housing. Pres. Donald Seegmiller and his Temple Bureau Missionaries Mission-aries were in charge of the entertainment enter-tainment of junior visitors, and Ada S. Schmutz and Ann B. Abbott Ab-bott cared for the infants. After two full days of Temple work during which 3033 baptisms were vicariously done by the juniors to top all records for such an excursion, the visitors returned home Saturday. HAROLD S.
