Show CANE BEDS, ARIZ. Mrs. Jos. T. Wilkinson Reporter Leo Palmer left Wednesday to enlist in the army training camp. A party was given for him Monday Mon-day evening in the school house. , A very good time was enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Leavitt and Vera Palmer of Gunlock, are here this week visiting Mrs. Lea-vitt's Lea-vitt's sons, the Palmer boys. Ellis Stock moved his family to Hurricane last Monday. He sold his ranch here to the Ballard brothers of Rockville. Karl Perkins left Friday evening eve-ning for his summer's employment in the forest service on Kaibab Mountain. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hinton and Lillie Perkins spent several days of this week visiting friends and relatives in Kanarra and Cedar City. The school celebrated Easter Friday afternnon in the school room, the weather being too bad for the usual Easter picnic in the hills. David and Lee Esplin of St. George are here this week at-tendine at-tendine to their interests here. |
