Show L. D. S. Seminary Classes Hold Annual April Dance The St. George L. D. S. seminary classes directed by Pearson H. Corbett and Mrs. William Can-staged Can-staged their annual April party and dance last Thursday evening at the St. George Recreation hall. More than 250 attended, including class members of St. George, seminary sem-inary groups from Hurricane, the junior Temple excursion visitors from California, and a few special spe-cial guests. The Hurricane group was accompanied by its instructor, Calvin Bartholomew, who replaced Leo G. Homer. A number bf adults from St. George, Hurricane and Santa Barbara mission district dis-trict attended part of the evening. Stormy weather prevented Cedar seminary students from attending. The program included a grand march, pantomimes by various groups of fairy stories and Bible incidents, conducted as a guessing game; singing, tag games, and dancing. Special numbers including includ-ing a rhumba and tango were played by two California visitors with Dale McAllister at the piano and Douglas Nordley with the drums. Hurricane seminary announced plans for a return invitational party early in May, the date to I be decided later. j Other events planned by the I local group will include the annual an-nual swimming party at Veyo, shortly after the spring registration, registra-tion, the weather man to be consulted con-sulted for the occasion. |
