Show M. I. A. Theme Week During Week of April 20-26 Next week will be celebrated by the South ward as M. I. A. theme week, according to plans announced an-nounced by Mrs. Pearson H. Corbett Corb-ett and Miss Emmaline Lemmon, officers of the Y. W. M. I. A. Home projects from Monday, through Friday will emphasize the 1940-41 theme with the Tuesday evening program highlighting the events. Monday is set as "Tribute Writing Writ-ing Day", when each member, old and young is expected to inscribe a poem, a letter or a prose sentiment senti-ment in honor of living or departed de-parted parents. Tuesday is family fam-ily prayer service; Wednesday, the big family dinner day, which will mark small reunions of local family fam-ily members; Thursday is "Kind Act Day", with the thought of remembering those within and without the home circle, and Friday Fri-day is ward Temple day. All who possibly can are urged to attend the Tuesday evening program when special features will be provided as the Theme Week entertainment, in harmony with the annual outline being used throughout the church. |
