Show Mrs. Mable Jenkins Children Honor Mother's Birthday Mrs. Mable Jenkins was surprised sur-prised on her birthday (May 23) by her children who gathered at her home. The evening was spent playing Canasta. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins and daughter, Alice, Frances Lou Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horrocks and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins and family. A lunch was served. Pfc. and Mrs. Boyd Nielson, of Roosevelt, visited Mrs. Niel-son's Niel-son's parents, Mr: and Mrs. Hay-mond Hay-mond Bigelow, enroute to his base at Ft. Riley, Kan. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Merkley, of Salt Lake City, were Saturday Satur-day night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bigelow. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Angus and baby, and Mrs. Alice Angus, of Blythe, Calif., are visiting Mr, and Mrs. Floyd Angus. Walt Neumeyer, of Los Angeles, An-geles, is spending his vacation J with his uncle and aunt, Mr. i and Mrs. Fred Neumeyer. I Mrs. Lawrence Lee received a letter from her brother, Cpl-1 . Bobb Gadd, that he is being shipped to Europe. DUP MAKES FLOWERS FOR BARE GRAVES The Daughters of Pioneers held their meeting at the home !of Eva Christensen, Thursday, May 17. The afternoon was spent making paper flowers to decorate decor-ate the undecorated graves. I Perry Bingham went with his father, Ercil Bingham, to Nev. last Saturday, where he will have employment. ! Mr. and Mrs. Sherm Taylor and daughter, Helen Hanson and son, of Meeker, Colo., visited Mrs. Taylor's mother. Dorothy Thompson and Mr. Taylor's mother, Roxie Taylor.
