Show Gay la Case Stake Swarm Day Held On May 26 Stake Swarm Day was held at the Mt. Emmons ward house Saturday. Mrs. Vivian Powell, stake Beehive leader, had charge of the day's events. Girls throughout the stake, recently graduated from Primary, were accepted into the Beehive ranks and given bandlos. Honor seals were presented by Beehive teachers. Those from Mt. Emmons who received such seals were Anna Boswell. Kay Hitchcock, ReNae Stevenson and Carma Jean Hansen. Local girls received in to the M.I.A. and the Beehive group were Gwendolyn Chapman, Jo-v Jo-v sephine Wall, Carolyn Dastrup, Bonnie Perkins. Teachers of lhese groups are Mrs. Willard 'tchcock and Mrs. Gordon eehive girls entertained with -ogram and M.I.A. officers d refreshments. ? jx . Hartman, of Duchesne, Hly appointed instructor for Altamont chapter of the Veteran Vet-eran on-the-farm - training- program, pro-gram, has purchased Waldo Hansen's Han-sen's home. Mr. Hansen expects to build in Altamont near the cafe he is erecting there. Mrs. Glen Ames and son, Leonard, and Mellwood Wall spent two days in Syracuse, Davis Da-vis county, last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Smith. Mr. Smith is employed as an airplane air-plane mechanic at Hill Air Base. The family of Otto Nielsen have moved from Myton to the farm they recently purchased from Clyde Snedegar, formerly the old Case homestead. Norma Wall, a 1951 high school graduate, has gone to Salt Lake to accept a position. Norma's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wall. Mrs. Max Clark left last Wednesday, Wed-nesday, May 22, for Waynesville, Mo. Her husband is stationed at nearby Fort Leonard Wood. Mrs. Clark is the former Arlene Bos-well. Bos-well. . . |
