Total acreage: 80 acres allotted; 7,120.53 acres tribaL Each unit is offered for separate sep-arate lease, for a cash bonus in addition to the stipulated royalties, royal-ties, and rental at $1.25 per acre per annum. The successful and responsible bidders for any lease will be required to' pay .in advance ad-vance an annual rental of $1.25 per acre, the cost of advertising and a filing fee of $5.00 for each lease contract consummated. consum-mated. A deposit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and 20 per cent of the advance rental for the first year must accompany the bid and be in the form of a certified cer-tified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable pay-able to the Treasurer of the United States. No individual, corporation, partnership, company, or association associ-ation shall hold under lease for oil andor gas mining purposes Indian tribal lands and restricted restrict-ed allotted Indian lands on any one inaian neservauon, in excess ex-cess of 25,000 acres. Acreage leased by an officer or director of a corporation, company, or association, or by a stockholder holding 40 per cent or more of the stock of the corporation, company, or association shall be charged against the corporation, company or association and vice versa. The acreage leased by a member of a partnership shall be charged against the partnership partner-ship and vice versa. The acreage of corporations, companies, or associations having common stockholders owning a majority of the stock of each corporation, company, or association, or having hav-ing one or more common officers offic-ers or directors shall be charged against each other. Bids for a minimum of a single sin-gle unit, or for two or three or more or all of the units of the area, as advertised, will be entertained, en-tertained, and the successful bidder bid-der oh such units will be required re-quired to take leases on the lands subject to the understanding understand-ing that a separate lease contract con-tract will be issued on each unit as listed, and all conditions of this advertisement shall apply to each separate lease contract so made. The sale will be held and the lease executed in accordance with the Act of March 3, 1909, (35 Stat. 781, 783), the Act of May 11, 1938 (52 Stat. 347) and Title 25, C.F.R.. Part 189 as to allotted lands and Part 186 as to tribal lands. Lease f orm 5-154h will be used for the allotted al-lotted leases and form 5-157 will be used for the tribal lease contracts. Failure of the successful bidder bid-der to comply with the terms of the sale and the regulations, will render his deposit liable to forfeiture in the discretion of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Leases filed after 20 days from date of mailing to lessee for execution will be subject to revaluation re-valuation of bonus, if permission is not granted for an extension of time. Sales will be cancelled and deposits forfeited at the expiration of the 20-day filing period unless for good and sufficient suf-ficient reason, an extension of the filing period is granted. The right is reserved by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to reject any or all bids' and to disapprove any lease made on an accepted bid. Should any bid be rejected after a deposit is made, through no fault of the bidder, .all moneys deposited shall be returned. The lessee must furnish a satisfactory sat-isfactory surety bond as required requir-ed by the regulations. Bids on allotted lands will be referred to the respective owners of each aHotment for acceptance before further action is taken by this office. Only aa such bids are approved by such owners, can a lease be drawn. Bids received on tribal lands will be referred to the Ute Busi ness Committee for their recommendation recom-mendation as to acceptance or rejection before such bids are referred to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs for final action. All bids must be marked on the Hutside of the envelope. "Bid on Oil and Gas Lease, Allotted Al-lotted and Tribal Indian lands, not to be opened until 2:00 o'clock o'-clock P. M. June 7. 1951."
