Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received re-ceived by the Board of Education of the Washington County School District at its office in St. George, Utah for the 1935 Building Program Pro-gram of the Washington County School District together with certain cer-tain Alternate Bids, all in accordance accord-ance with the plans and specifications specifi-cations as prepared by Pope & Burton Architects & Engineers, Newhouse Building, Salt Lake City, Utah, up and until the hour of Four o'clock p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 1935, at which time and at which place they will be publicly opened and read. Plans, specifications and proposal pro-posal blanks may be examined on Oct. 22, 193 5 or thereafter, either at the office of the Board Or Architects, or they may be obtained ob-tained at the office of the Architects Arch-itects upon a deposit of $25.00. Said deposit will be refunded provided bid is submitted In the proper form and the plans and specifications are returned to the Architects in good order not later than three days after date of opening bids. Proposals must be made in strict accordance with all the provisions pro-visions of the plans and specifications, specifi-cations, and must be made on the blank forms provided by the Architects. Ar-chitects. To be considered they must be accompanied by a certified cer-tified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount at least equal to five per cent of the following fol-lowing sum: The base bid, plus all additive alternates. BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED AS FOLLOWS: COMPLETE BID including, all projects and all branches of work. SEPARATE BIDS will also be received as follows: Project 1. Junior High School at St. George, Utah. a) On the General Contract exclusive of Plumbing and Heating. b) On the Plumbing and Heating. Project 2. Junior High School at Hurricane, Utah. a) On the General Contract exclusive of Plumbing and Heating. b) On the Plumbing and Heating. All bidders are hereby notified that this is a P. W. A. Project and all work contemplated thereunder there-under must be done under the rules and regulations of the Emergency Emer-gency Relief Appropriation Act of 1935 thereto pertaining. (See Construction Regulations, P. W. A. form 166 dated July 22, 1935 and subsequent revisions). Specific attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum wage rates prescribed by the Federal Emergency Administration Ad-ministration of Public Works must be paid on the Project. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 30 days following fol-lowing the opening of the bids. The right is reserved to accept ac-cept any or reject all proposals or alternates.
