Show WASHINGTON Mrs. H. L. Briggs returned to her home in San Bernardino Sunday Sun-day after a short visit with her daughter, Mrs. John Adams. Accompanying Ac-companying her were her son, Theron Briggs and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Rigger and son, Ronnie. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johonsen and son, Bert of Vallejo, California Calif-ornia were visiting Mrs. Herman Schmutz the latter part of the week. Two primary elections were held here last week to nominate city officers. Mrs. Gladys Mitchell and small sons of Roosevelt were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Orman Wilkins. Just-A-Mere club was held at the home of Mrs. Julia Dewy on Wednesday. Bill Sandberg and LaVar Neil-sen Neil-sen returned home from Montana where they have been working. They were accompanied by Mrs. Floyd Walston and two children. Mrs. Stina Funk of Salt Lake City is visiting old friends here enroute home from California 'where she has been visiting her daughter. C. S. Wilkinson of Salt Lake City was a business visitor in town last week. The students of Woodward school played baseball with the Washington school on Tuesday. The boys of Washington were Tictors by a score of 20 to 26. The girls lost to St. George 2 0 to 3 6. Preston Larsen returned home from Logan, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Uhel oi Pioche spent Sunday visiting Mrs Uriel's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard Neilson. Antone Nisson spent the weekend week-end home. He is attending school at Provo. The annual primary meetinc was held at the- home of Julia Dewey on Tuesday. |
