Almost Immediately following fol-lowing the di .liandment of the regiment the 1 4 o t ti Field Artil-lt-ry association was formed to perpetuate the association and acquaintances ac-quaintances made by the members mem-bers of the legiment during their H'-rvice to their country and state." said 'resident Howard Candland of the association in speaking of the l'j:i!) reunion of the regiment to he held at the Hotel Utah, in Salt hake, CSaturday, October 5th at 7 p.m. ''lie program outlined will make this reunion one of the most interesting in-teresting and best attended ever held, according to President Candland. Cand-land. An Informal reception will be held at the Hotel Utah from B to 7 p.m. The banquet will be from 7 to 8 with short business meetings immediately afterward at which the ladies auxiliary will be organized. It is expected that all veterans will bring their wives or sweethearts so that they may assist in the organization of the ladies auxiliary. Following the business meeting all of the moving pictures made of ttie regiment while it was in Ber-vice Ber-vice will be shown. Dancing will be to the tune of a 7 piece orchastra the entertainment committee has provided. All committees are working hard to insure a pleasant time and a successful reunion. President Candland has announced an-nounced the following committees for the occasion: Finance, Colonel Col-onel William C. Webb, chairman, Captain Irwin Clawson and Captain Cap-tain E. G. Wooley; permanent organization, or-ganization, Captain Irwin Claw-son, Claw-son, chairman, Leiutenant C. W. Woodruff, Maurice Anderson and Wallace B. Kelley; publicity, Colonel Col-onel E. LeRoy Bourne, chairman, Lieutenant Lloyd H. Duffin and Wendell Whitney; contact and reception, re-ception, Howard Graham, chairman, chair-man, Lieutenant Norman J. Salisbury, Salis-bury, H. W. Brangham, William Smedley, Vern Pace and James S. Mellstrup ; entertainment, Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Clarence Hawkins, chairman, chair-man, Harvey Pierce and Lieutenant Lieuten-ant William Campbell; banquet, Howard Candland, chairman, Maurice Anderson and Jack Tan-nenbaum; Tan-nenbaum; decorations and souvenirs, sou-venirs, Major Curtis Y. Clawson, chairman, Jack Tannenbaum and Scott Dahlquist. All committees are busy preparing for the 400 'former soldiers and their wives |
