Show HUNDREDS GOING TO ELjUOKFEST Ogden Members Plan Surprise For Big Convention Parade On Friday. White flannel trousers and purple and white hat bands have been selling like hot cakes lately on account of the convention of the Utah Elks who have signed up to make the trip to Salt Lake for the parade on Friday. Ogden lodge hopes to win tho prize for the' best showing in tho parade. The Ogden Elks will take the Southern Pacific band along for the parade They have several other features fea-tures with which to surprise the throngs In Salt Lake, but theso features fea-tures are being kept secret except to the members of tho committee and those who will take part. Special excursion rates are offered by the Bamberger Electric railway for Friday, with 'a special train to leavo Salt Lake on the roturn trip at 1 o'clock Saturday morning. TicketG must bo purchased at the Elks club or from members of the Elks committee commit-tee to get these rates. The convention features will begin Wednesday evening, include two sessions ses-sions and a trip to Saltair on Thursday, Thurs-day, with another session, the big parade and ball game between Ogden and Salt Lake on Friday.
