Show DISASTROUS FIRE AT GALVESTON SISAL WHARF GALVESTON. Tex.. June 1. Section C of Pier 41 of the Galveston Wharf company, together wtih approximately '$1,000,000 worth of Yucatan sisal was j destroyed by fire here early today. The sisal destroyed belonged to soveral New York fjrms, according to the shipping men here, while section C and tho warehouse thereon was under lease to the Cotton Concentration company. The damage to the pier and warehouse will reacn j?500,000, it was estimated. |
