Chapultepec was tho first to smash the record for six furlongs, when ho carried 112 pounds and ran the distance In 1:11 flat, which la one-fifth of a second faster than the best previous time, made by Glorlo a few days ago. The second record to be broken was in the last race, which was for nil ages, at five and one-half furlongs. Lady Irma, a 2-year-old. carrying elghty-flvo pounds, ran tho distance In 1:04 4-5, one-fifth of a second faster than Colloquy ran a few days ago.
