Show Big Damages Doinanded. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Dec. 2S. Damages amounting to $20,000 aro demandea In an action begun be-gun today by A.- I. Stone, administrator of tho estato of William V. West, against the Oregon Short Line Railroad company. West was in tho employ of the company as a switchman, when ho met his death In an accident at Glonns Ferry, Ida.. June 10, 1007. The complaint charges negligence against tho company for leaving cars on a side track, which were struck by the train upon which West was riding. Although Al-though the accident occurred at night there were no lights on the train to warn the deceased of his danger, according to the complaint. |
