Show TURKEY DOES NOT FAVOR AUSTRIA'S SUGGESTIONS CONSTANTINOPLE. Dec. 28. Count Pallavlclni, the Austrian embassador to Turkey, today had Interviews with the grand vizier and Towfik Pasha, tho minister min-ister of foreign affairs. Ho found them both totally opposed to the acceptance of Austria's suggestions for a settlement of the Bosnia and Herzegovina question. The count was informed, however, that tho Ottoman embassador at Vienna had been instructed to open negotiations with Baron von Aehrenthal, tho Austro-Hun-garian foreign minister, and the opinion was expressed that with tho good will of both sides a satisfactory agreement will be reached eventually. It Is understood that the porto will shortly Invite Bulgaria to sond delegates to resume negotiations for a settlement of tho Turko-Bulgarlan questions. |
