Show BRISTOW ANSWERS Aldrich Letter Relating to the Tariff on Rubber MILWAUKEE. Aug. 12. -Senator Joseph L. Brlntow of Kansas, In his speech here tonight, which he stated was in reply to the letter of Senator Nelson W. Aldrich. defending himself against the charges of the Kansas senator relating to the tariff on rubber, rub-ber, launched Into the subject by say-Inz: say-Inz: "Senator Aldrich declares that the Inter-Continental Rnbltrr company I not a trust, and at the same time admits ad-mits that It Is a holding company. Then referring to his own speech at Winfleld. Kan., on July 9. Senator Brlstow declared that Mr Aldrich took exception to his remarks on the rubber duty especially.
