Show HIGH PRAISE FOR UTAH GUARDSMEN General Wedgwood Says Signal Corps Is Second to None in the Country. Dale Creek, Wyo., Aug. 13. Th. maneuvering of the Utah National guard for the present year came to an end Friday when camp was struck. The boys arose shortly after 3 o clock and all equipment was loaded by 8 o'clock. The batterv and f ignal corps made the return hike to Dnlo Creek by noon. The Infantry companies followed fol-lowed in tbrcp hours. The only incident inci-dent on tho hike was the turning over of one section of the battery wagons nu a had place in the road. The trains were loaded and the. evening eve-ning meal served the men In the tourist tour-ist sleepers. Both the horse special Infantry trains left by dark. A five-hour five-hour stop will he made in Green River, where the horses will bo exercised.. General Wedgwood told the officers that the guard made a much greater jump than ho expected, and that the reports to tho war department would certainly recommend the bovs" work. The general added that the Utah signal sig-nal corps and battery was second to rene in tho United StateB, according to statements by regular officers.
