Show MINING PROPERTY DESTROYED Spokane, Aug. 13. The plant, including in-cluding compressors, cabins and blacksmith shop owned hy tbo LJs-con LJs-con Mining company on Big Creek, near Wallace, Idaho, was destroyed today bv a forest fire entailing a loss of $20,000. The buildings of the Blue Belt were hurned. The miners succeed suc-ceed in carrying the portable equipment equip-ment into the tunnel, where It was saved. Unless the wind becomes fitrong. Wallace and other mining camps in the Couer D AIenes are safe safe from the forest fires. Reports from Bird Creek, on the St. Joe river say several mining camps there have been hurned. On Pine Creek the fire has swept away much valuable timber. |
