Show CARPENTERS 111 A SOCIAL EVENING The regular business meeting of Og den local. No. 450. Brotherhood of Carpenters, was held last night In the Central Labor hall, with a large mem bership in attendance. The statls tical reports, presented at the meet lng, showed the local to be in excellent excel-lent condition and having a promising outlook for the new year. The building build-ing activities in the city during 1913. which are expected to continue throughout the present year, are, in the opinion of the carpenters, respon sible for the present excellent flnan lal condition of the local and the in leased membership which was noted ,n the report. Following the meeting, a card par ty and social was held and all prcs-ent prcs-ent thoroughly enjoyed the program W. D. Watson and Naker Hansen acted act-ed as the social committee and were congratulated on the manner in which they conducted the affair. The committee decided to give two socials eucli month during the winter season and a smoker will be given soon to which all trade unionists in the city will be invited. nn |
