Show oo REQUISITION FOR FRENCH FORWARDED Salt Lake, Jan. 15. Requisition papers pa-pers for the return of C W. French, the promoter, whose drafts vera repudiated re-pudiated In this city, w-pre prepared by the county attorney. 1 E. Wllley, yesterday and were mailed to Sac ramento, Cal., Ia6t night. The pa pers were signed by Governor Will iam Spry. They are directed to the governor of California Nicholas G Morgan, assistant coun ty attorney, who Is now in Lot Angeles, An-geles, after French, wireJ to the coun ty attorney yesterday afternoon to the effect that French had been sur rendered by his bondsmen and was now in jail. Mr. Morgan also Informed In-formed the county attorney that French was desirous of effecting a settlement of his affairs In Salt Lake and had asked If he could not 3end a representative here. To this the county attorney re plied that French could begin "to talk settlement after he reached Salt Lake himself Mr Morgan wa6 ordered to stay in California until he gets French. Morgan will leave for Sacramento loday so as to be on hand wueu the requisition papers arrive at the state capital. |
