Show Former resident receives Army commendation A former Cedar City resident. resi-dent. Specialist Four William L. Adams, has received the Army Commendation Medal for outstanding service performed per-formed at Fort Benning, Ga. between July 22, 1970 and May 31, 1971. The soldier is the son of former Cedar City residents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Adams who now reside in Potomac, Mont. The citation covered tho period of time while Adams was assigned as a processing clerk, processing Branch, Personnel Per-sonnel Division, the School Brigade at the U. S. Army Infantry School. The commendation read in part as follows: ". . . . he displayed charact- j eristics of leadership, loyalty! and sound judgment recognized recogniz-ed as the standards of performance per-formance of the most professional profes-sional and dedicated soldiers. ". . . . he reviewd and revised re-vised his administrative procedures pro-cedures and made many significant sig-nificant changes in operations opera-tions areas, increasing total efficiency within his areas of responsibility ... he set an example for his subordinates to follow and his superiors to praise." |
