Show Sterling R. Bossard elected court presiding judge Honorable Sterling R, Bossard, Bos-sard, Judge of the Fourth District Dis-trict Juvenile Court with headquarters at Cedar City, Utah, ; was elected Presiding Judge of the Board or juvenile juven-ile Court Judges of the State of Utah at Salt Lakc City last week. His term of office will begin in August for the period per-iod of one year. As Presiding Judge, Judge Bossard will have the re- sponsibility to preside at all -meetings of the Board of Juvenile Ju-venile Court Judges and to make assignments of judges from one district to another when help is needed in any of the districts. He will work with the Juvenile Court Administrator Ad-ministrator in handling the administrative matters of the Juvenile Courts of the State of Utah. Judge toward has been very active in State Bar activities ac-tivities having served as a State Bar Commissioner for 10 years and a President of the Utah State Bar last year. , " ' He has held many civic and church positions having served ser-ved as President of the Cedar Ce-dar City Lions, and Escalant? Knife and Fork Club. He was a member of the bishopric of the Richfield Second Ward T for fcix cars prior to movinj to Cedar City. 1 |
