Show Deadline nears for Lady Lions King and Queen contest entries There is only one week left to get entries in for the King and Queen contest for the Lady Lions minature parade for the July Fourth celebration. celebra-tion. Entries can be made by sending a postcard by June 24 to Lady Lions, Box 392, Cedar City, with the following follow-ing information: name of child, sex, birthday, address, name and telephone number of parents. Contestants are limited to boys and girls four and five years of age. Selection of the King and Queen will be made by drawing draw-ing by last year's King and Queen and will be held June 25 at 3:30 p.m. at North East Furniture. The new King and Queen and attendants will ride in the parade with a theme of "It's a Small World." Lady Lions would like to encourage entries in the parade. par-ade. Cash nrizes will be awarded in several categories and all civic groups, church groups, 4-H clubs, neighborhoods neighbor-hoods and individuals are invited in-vited to enter. There are still some float bases available to those interested in erecting their own floats.
