Show Cowbelles promote beef for father made from cowhide by members mem-bers of the organization. President of the group is Alene Orton of Parowan. Vice president is Naida Gardner, MMMMWMMWMMMNV LaRee Schmutz is secretary, and directors include Betty Schoppmann, Donna Jean Mitchell, Marie Wood and Ellen El-len Clark. UAAAMAMAAAAAAAAAAJUm A beef roast will be presented pre-sented to the father of the first baby born on father's day at the Valley View Medical Medi-cal Center by the Iron County Coun-ty Cowbelles. The annual promotion is sponsored to draw attention to the place that the cattle industry plays in the lives of citizens. In keeping with the annual observance of Father's Day, June 20, has been declared de-clared Beef for Father's Day in a proclamation signed by Mayor Loren Whetten. In the proclamation the mayor asked citizens to become be-come concious of the place that the livestock industry plays in our lives and the economic ec-onomic impact that the industry in-dustry has had in the Cedar City area. Officers of the Cowbelles are also planning a series of money making projects including in-cluding sale of key chains, pony tail clips and wallets, |
