Red Hill Wranglers set 19th annual July 4th Race Meet The Red Hill Wranglers, Parowan riding club, is now making plans for its 19th annual an-nual July 4 Race and and Ro-dea- The club is setting up two full days of activities, on Saturday, July 3 and Monday July 5, according to Mrs. Norman Nor-man Evans, publicity director. A full card of races will be held Saturday, with barrel racing and equestrian games between races. Monday a full day of racing rac-ing is planned along with a complete amateur rodeo, including in-cluding bull riding, bronc riding, rid-ing, roping and with barrel racing for the lady riders. A feature race with $200 added add-ed money will be run with the distance to be announced later. This show offers the residents resi-dents of this area, the opportunity oppor-tunity to see two full shows for the price of one. The Wranglers Wran-glers extend an invitation to everyone to spend the Fourth of July in Parowan, bring the entire family. A parade will feature the morning's entertainment enter-tainment and a fireworks display dis-play will be held at night on Monday, July 5. Horsemen wishing to enter their horses in the races may do so July 2 and 3 at 7 p. m. at the Parowan library lounge and rodeo contestants will enter en-ter at the track Monday at 2 p. m. Pv m. The Parowan racing and rodeo ro-deo plant offers a large grandstand, grand-stand, clean rest rooms and good concession stands for the convenience and comfort of all who attend. |
