| Show Foot Jr The Fraud Jumps The swindler who for some time as Dr Foot Jr has been robbing the sick and afflicted at Salt Lake City now that Dr E B Foote Senior of New York City has gone there to unmask him has skipped out to Portland Oregon to open an office there There is but one Dr Foote Tr in the United States He is Dr E B Foot Jr eldest son of Dr E B Foote of 120 Lexington Avenue New York City This eminent physician is author of several very valuable medical works He is well and widely known in this country and in others His son is following in the road opened by his illustrious sire and as Dr E B Foote Jr already enjoys a widespread reputation being known far and wide by advertisements and the speech of people who a quarter of a century cen-tury have known the father and who have come to know the son Then up steps an unknown person whose name is not Foote with a terminus e or even Foot without an e but who to rob honest men of the fruits of their skill ability and extensive advertising assumes as-sumes the name of Dr Foot Jr declares de-clares himself to be the son of Dr E B Foote of New York City and on the strength of that eminent mans name and reputation and against the rights and reputation of the son gathers in patients who are drugged robbed and injured Thus he is thrice a robber He steals from Dr E B Foote Sr and from Dr E B Foote Jr their good name and justlyearned business lie takes money and what little health they have left from his victims who are lured to his denilf 2f Pomeroys Democrat Washington D C 3fay 30 |
