Show Out East Mill Creek Way try weather are Mrs. Walter Iiurdelte and Mrs. Belva Barlow. Both of these women are enjoying enjoy-ing well-earned vacations in sunny sun-ny California and both plan to be gone a"bout two weeks. Keith Wallin Is now recuperating recuper-ating from a very serious opera tion which was necessary because be-cause of injuries received while playing M Men basketball on Nov. 5. His condition was critical crit-ical for three days but he is now on the road to recovery. Belva Barlow and Shirley Cliamlx'rlin are back home again after spending a very successful success-ful week end in Denver with the University of Utah debate team. The U walked off with all honors and these two E M C coeds did their part in helping to bring home the bacon. The first two practice games . in the East Mill Creek Stake i Basketball League have been : played and the first league i games will be played next Wed-; Wed-; nesday, Nov. 19. At 7 p.m. Cum-; Cum-; mings will play Rosecrest; at 8, Grandview vs. Evergreen, and at 9 Wilford takes on East Mill - Creek. The boys are playing some smooth ball this year and f ' the games promise to be most I interesting.
