Holiday On Ice Already the seat sale for "Holiday "Hol-iday on Ice" is extremely heavy and capacity crowds are expected expect-ed for every night of the two weeks' engagement. Admission to the Exposition has been reduced to 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children so that everyone in the state will have an opportunity to see the . greatest exhibition ever brought to the state and at the lowest price possible. Jr. Livestock Show Nearly 2,500 animals are en- one-half million dollars to the youthful, growers, all members of the 4-H cubs and the FFA. Centennial Regatta On Utah Lake Provo is providing holiday entertainment en-tertainment with the Centennial Centen-nial Regatta to be staged on Utah Lake this Friday. The re-gata re-gata will include outboard, inboard, in-board, hydroplane and dun-i about races with the activity I centering around the beautiful ! harbor about three miles fromi the heart of the city. The first heat is scheduled to be run at 10 a. rri. and there will be racing from then on until three o'clock. Al Hart, well known Walnut Creek, Calif., yachtsman, will be the referee. The chairman of the race committee is L. O. Turner Tur-ner of Provo, and the chairman of the local committee is T. C. Gessford, also of Provo. Western Zone Trapshoot The entry list in the Western Zone Tfrapshoot, a Centennial event set to begin at the Salt Lake Gun club this Thursday, has grown to the point that the event is assured of being the biggest ever held in the intermountain' inter-mountain' west. It will not only be the biggest from the standpoint stand-point of entries but the cash prizes of $3,500 will also top any money list ever before attempted at-tempted west of the Mississippi. The tournament will continue from Thursday through June 1. |
