Show Pioneers' Last Chance to Register for Centennial AH living "native" pioneers, that is those born in the state before May 10, 1896, will be honored hon-ored by the Utah Centennial commission with handsomely engraved Certificates of Honor. In order to do this it is necessary neces-sary for the commission to obtain ob-tain their names and addresses and data on the place and date of their birth. All living pioneers are asked to fill out the following blank and mail it immediately so they may receive the certificate which will make a valuable keepsake for themselves or their desoendants. If the pioneers pion-eers cannot fill out the blanks due to age or disability, it is proper for members of their families to do so. Family members mem-bers should see that a certified blank is sent in for their living pioneers. i The blanks are to be certified by family members or others who can atest to the truth of the information on the blank. This paper and others throughout the state are cooperating in an attempt to reach all pioneers by printing this blank.- |
