Show Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Joe Walters Was Married Dec. 8 t Walters went to Salt - Llda? t0 meet his fiancee Miss Marilyn Snyder, of El Monte, California. Thev spent the weekend at the homP of Joes parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Mal-colm Walters, leaving Saturday lor bait Lake, where they were married Monday, Dec. 8, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. ,TThe bride is a daughter of Mrs Faye Snyder, of El Montr. California. The groom recentl ' completed a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California Cal-ifornia Mission. Tney were accompanied to the temple by the groom's parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters and by a large group of friends. After the weddins the young couple will visit in California, returning here for the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor and Carol motored to Craig, Colo.. Sunday, to spend the day with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Rawlins. Mrs. Minnie Beal, of American Ameri-can Fork, formerly of Bridge-land, Bridge-land, was here last week to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Beal. Mr. arid Mrs. Bill Shephard. Joann and Billy spent last week in Salt Lake City. A large crowd of Bridgelancl people attended the Duchesne Stake Gold and Green ball Fri day evening. The following young folks from the Brldgeland Ward participated in the floor show: Ronald and Emma Lee Lisonbee, Jane, Mona and Louise Lou-ise Liddell, Carol Ann Brady. Judy Halladay, Joe Shephard and Rulon Liddell. Mrs. Myrl Smith accompanied her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young to Salt Lake to attend the wedding- of Joe Walters and Miss Marilyn Snyder. Lloyd Brady went to Salt Lake Sunday. He was accom-! panied by his aunt, Mrs. Ada Southouse, who had been vis-j itinr here the past week with her sister, Mrs. Edith Brady, i Two babies were blessed in 'Sacrament meeting Sunday. The small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wright was given the name "Rosalee." The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clayburn wbb named "Randy." Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Stans-field, Stans-field, of Price, visited their father. fath-er. George Stansfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield on Sunday. I Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meyer went to Provo one day last week for medical treatment for Mrs. Frank Meyer. |
